Welcome to Mad Poppy!

I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Katherine, a Nashville native and the woman behind all of this. Mad Poppy started back in February 2023 when I was looking for a creative outlet and ended up opening an Etsy shop selling custom embroidered patches for music festivals. I spent every spare moment before and after work making orders and honestly just figuring it out as I went. I loved every second of it.

Somewhere along the way I fell back in love with reading, and the book community completely pulled me in. Those two passions, books and music, are really the heart of everything Mad Poppy is today.

Now Mad Poppy lives in two places:

Mad Poppy Reads is the bookish side of things, where you'll find handmade bookmarks, kindle inserts, book covers, stickers, kindle grips, and more.

Mad Poppy Raves is where my love of music festivals lives, and honestly where this whole journey started. I make festival clothes that are understated, high quality, and comfortable. Pieces that feel like you and work just as well out in the world as they do at a show.

I've always been a bit of a hobby collector. I love learning new things and I tend to follow whatever is inspiring me in the moment. Mad Poppy has always been a reflection of that. Some items in the shop are handmade by me, and others are made in partnership with high quality printers and manufacturers I really trust. Either way, my rule is simple: if I wouldn't be proud to use it or wear it myself, it doesn't make it into the shop.
